Privacy Policy — MaxifyTV

MaxifyTV is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you hold over it.

  • Payment information: billing details handled by our secure payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Support communications: messages you send to [email protected] or through the contact form.

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, subscription status.
  • Device information: device type, operating system and IBO Player version.
  • IP address: used for region detection, fraud prevention and service delivery.
  • Cookies: session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies for service improvement (section 6).

1.3 Information we do not collect

We do not collect government identification numbers, biometric data or financial account details beyond what payment processing requires.

2. How we use your information

  • Delivering the Service: activating and managing your subscription, authenticating your device and streaming content.
  • Processing payments: completing transactions and issuing receipts.
  • Customer support: answering enquiries, troubleshooting and resolving disputes.
  • Improving the Service: analysing usage patterns to improve performance and the content line-up.
  • Service communications: order confirmations, expiry reminders and important notices. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
  • Preventing fraud and abuse: detecting unauthorised credential sharing.
  • Legal compliance: responding to lawful requests from authorities in the United States.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Legal basis for processing

  • Contract performance: processing necessary to deliver your subscription.
  • Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, service security and analytics.
  • Legal obligation: compliance with applicable law in the United States.
  • Consent: where we explicitly ask for it, such as optional communications.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with payment processors, who complete transactions under their own privacy policies; infrastructure and CDN providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements; and legal authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of MaxifyTV and its users. All processors must maintain appropriate security measures and are prohibited from using your data for their own marketing.

6. Cookies

8. Data security

We apply TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive account information, access controls limiting who can view personal data, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure; in the event of a breach affecting your rights we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law in the United States.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

10. International transfers

Data is processed and stored in secure data centres. Where data is transferred outside the United States, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are in place.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the revised version at https://maxifytv.com/privacy.html with a new “last updated” date. For material changes we will notify you on WhatsApp or with a prominent notice on the site.
